Bride vs. Bride
I wanted to do something a little more
light-hearted after all the doom and gloom cartoons I've drawn
recently. And Masheka and I are getting married next
year, so this cartoon is about two things. 1. The debate going on in
the LGBT community over the recent controversial Beyond Same-Sex Marriage
manifesto/statement, and 2. My slight ambivalence towards my own total
wedding-crazedness. But I swear I'm not obsessing over place cards...
just over the dress, which I am making myself. And the cartoon
invitations. And the vegan chocolate wedding cake. Er... Yeah...
